Meagan Anderson, OD

Hello! My name is Dr. Meagan Anderson, and I am an optometrist at Modern Vision Solutions. I grew up in the Omaha area and am excited to be back to provide vision care to the people here! I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha and went on to receive my optometry degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry.
Before optometry school, I developed a special interest in technology in eye care and refractive surgery. This developed further during my time in school, and led me to pursue a refractive surgery residency after graduation at Kugler Vision in Omaha, NE. My specialties in eye care include refractive surgery, specialty contact lenses, and myopia management.
At Modern Vision Solutions I get to be part of something different. We are able to change lives and educate our patients in a way that they’ve likely never experienced before. You will notice that we utilize the most up to date and advanced technology available in eye care, and this is something I am extremely passionate about. Alexa Narke
Optometrist
Alexa Narke, OD, is an Omaha native who earned her undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University in Kansas City before completing her optometry training at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry.
Dr. Narke believes that clear, healthy vision plays an important role in everyday life and loves helping patients see their best. She enjoys staying at the forefront of eye care by using the latest technology to diagnose, manage, and treat eye health needs. She loves the unique balance of science and creativity that allows her to provide personalized, patient-centered care. Her goal is to ensure that every patient feels comfortable, informed, and confident in their care.
When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Narke enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs. You’ll often find her on walks, baking sourdough, or working on her next needlepoint project.

I love working as an Optometric Technician at Modern Vision Solutions because the team is incredibly supportive and dedicated to patient care. As the patient counselor at Modern Vision Solutions, I listen to concerns, answer questions, and help patients better understand their treatment options. I use the recommendations of our doctors and the images from our state-of-the-art testing to guide our patients down their long-term vision care path. I relish the unique opportunity to support our compassionate team and help our patients in this way.

Dr. Meagan Anderson is the lead optometrist at Modern Vision Solutions in Omaha, NE. She completed her Residency in Refractive Surgery and Primary Care and holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry St. Louis, MO. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and the Nebraska Optometric Association. Dr. Anderson has had experience in multiple refractive surgery and optometry practices. She has served as a teaching assistant in Clinical Optometry I, II, & III courses. Our patients love her incredible empathy.
