If you’ve ever wondered whether your current eye exam is truly giving you the full story about your vision, you’re not alone. At Modern Vision Solutions, patients tell us every day that they’ve never experienced anything like our VisionTrack™ EyeAnalysis Exam—a diagnostic approach designed to reveal the complete picture of your eye health and empower you with every possible vision solution.
Recently, Dr. Meagan Anderson, OD, joined KETV Omaha’s Very Local Business Spotlight to walk through what makes the Modern Vision Solutions EyeAnalysis Exam so unique. Her message was clear: eye care should be more than a quick check; it should be a roadmap for truly understanding your eyes and planning for your vision’s future.
Below, we break down the benefits of our advanced exam and why patients seeking comprehensive eye care in Omaha consistently choose Modern Vision Solutions.
What Is the VisionTrack™ EyeAnalysis Exam?
At Modern Vision Solutions, the EyeAnalysis Exam isn’t just an upgraded eye test—it’s a complete diagnostic experience.
Instead of offering a simple refraction and eye chart test, the exam uses multiple high-resolution imaging technologies to evaluate:
- The front of the eye (cornea, lens clarity, tear film health)
- The middle structures
- The retina and optic nerve in the back of the eye
- Your visual system as a whole
This allows our team to identify subtle issues early, understand how your eyes function together, and determine which vision solutions will actually support your lifestyle—not just your prescription.
“We really look at the full picture of the eye—from the front all the way to the back.”
— Meagan Anderson, OD
Your Exam. Your Needs. Your Options.
Unlike traditional eye exams, which often stop at glasses or contact lens recommendations, the EyeAnalysis Exam is designed to help patients understand all of their options—including options for permanent vision correction.
During your visit, Dr. Anderson and the MVS team walk you through whether you’re a great candidate for:
- Glasses
- Contact lenses
- Specialty lenses
- LASIK
- SMILE
- PRK
- EVO ICL
- Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)
- Or other modern vision correction procedures
This means patients leave with clarity—not confusion.
“If someone is a great glasses or contacts candidate, that’s wonderful. But I also talk through other options like LASIK or refractive lens exchange so they understand everything available to them.”
— Meagan Anderson, OD
Matching Each Patient With the Right Procedure
Your age, visual needs, lifestyle, and long-term goals all play a role in determining the right solution if the patient opts for corrective eye surgery.
Here’s how Dr. Anderson breaks it down:
👁 LASIK (Typically for patients under 50), SMILE, or EVO ICL
Great for treating nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
👁 Refractive Lens Exchange (Best for patients 50+)
A powerful option for patients who are tired of readers or bifocals, RLE replaces the eye’s natural lens with an advanced technology lens—before cataracts develop.
Both approaches are part of MVS’s commitment to helping patients achieve long-lasting, custom vision—without having to revisit the problem year after year.

Get ready for another Very Local Business Spotlight. Today, we’re back at Modern Vision Solutions talking about VisionTrack EyeAnalysis Exams.
Interviewer:
Dr. Anderson, can you tell me about the MVS EyeAnalysis Exam here at Modern Vision Solutions?
Dr. Anderson:
With our EyeAnalysis exam, we really look at the full picture of the eye. So we take many diagnostic images from the front of the eye all the way to the back of the eye. And then we really focus on giving people all of their options, whether that be glasses, contacts, or even vision correction options.
Interviewer:
Well, how would the EyeAnalysis exam help a patient choose between those three options?
Dr. Anderson:
Yeah, so anytime I see a patient, I kind of cater it to their needs. So if they’re a good candidate for glasses and contacts, that’s great. But I’ll also talk to them about their other options like LASIK, refractive lens exchange, other vision correction options as well.
Interviewer:
And can you tell me a little bit more about those surgical options?
Dr. Anderson:
Yes, so LASIK is a procedure that’s typically suited for people under the age of 50 that really helps sharpen distance and near vision for people that are both far-sighted and near-sighted. And then a lens exchange procedure is the major one that’s best suited for people over the age of 50 that’s really helping get people out of reading glasses.
Interviewer:
Dr. Anderson, thank you so much for your time today.
Dr. Anderson:
Thank you.
